Instructor:  Laurie Pahel, MD

Psychoanalysts in training work to develop their repertoire of useful analytic interventions.  Interpretation and working through are processes vital to psychoanalytic therapeutic work.  We will define these terms and then apply them to clinical scenarios.  Class participants will be asked to write several times per week in a document shared by all participants.  The written entries will include reactions to assigned articles and thoughts about relevant clinical experiences.  Lively class discussion will be fostered.
