Mission Statement: 2017-2018
The Affiliated Organizations Committee (AOC) of the Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas (PCC) brings together clinical organizations for the purpose of promoting mental health (primarily psychotherapy) in the Carolinas through mutual sharing of event information, listening to the wisdom of each other and then working together on the critical issues that arise in our discussions. Each member of the AOC shall act as a liaison between the PCC and their own respective organization. The mission of the PCC is “to promote emotional resilience by understanding the mind through psychoanalytic training, practice and service.” The Affiliated Organizations Committee does not formally or legally “affiliate” the PCC with any organization but simply involves a person who agrees to act as liaison.
