Rex Moody, MD has been practicing psychoanalytic psychotherapy since 1991. Board Certified in Psychiatry in 1993, he became involved with the UNC/Duke Psychoanalytic Institute shortly thereafter (now known as the Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas). Dr. Moody has an appointment as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UNC and as Clinical Adjunct at Duke University's Department of Psychiatry. He is also on faculty at the Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas. Dr. Moody has been teaching and supervising psychiatry residents from UNC and Duke since the mid 1990's, and is active in several professional organizations. He is the previous past president of the NC Psychoanalytic Society (now part of the Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas - PCC) and President-Elect of the PCC. Email: [email protected]
